Do more today, to do less tomorrow.
I bet that’s an established phrase, at least somewhere. I just made it up, learning that my previous attempt at sleeping was 50 minutes ago.
I’d kill for that much sleeping in the morning. Yet, I’ve spent that time with my phone. Not unnecessarily, I did want to sleep badly. Yet, it’s impossible for me to sleep, while the family isn’t, I keep waking up, over and over again, and it’s hard to relax to get there in the first place. And… by the time they’re asleep, I no longer that sleepy!
Now, almost an hour later, I do want to sleep, as I’m sleepy again. I wasn’t do anything to alert my nervous system, just read some shit here and there, mostly Internet. So I do want to sleep now.
And here I realised that sleep is similar to these other tasks. The more you do today, the less you may need to do tomorrow. Non-doing till the very last, won’t be good here either.
Wish I could get asleep easily with others being non-sleepy. Without me being deathly exhausted. Rather me being able to relax properly. Regardless of my surroundings. Sounds like a very advanced skill.
