I have quite a big project, which is a close-to-a-professional-project-but-still-a-hobby-one, and I planned to launch it very early this year, in early January. When the summer arrived, and I thought ‘I think I’d launch it before end of summer.’ It wasn’t a hard goal, but still a comfortable one, a realistic one. End of August, I was close to launching, and thought of informing my friend with ‘hey, take a look at it, finally, I’ve launched!’ But I’ve got somewhat busy, and still did not launch by then.
Today is Oct 3, and I realised it’s still there, in progress. That’s considering I was working on the project all this time.
‘Well, that’s a hobby project,’ I told myself, before realising ‘aren’t all my projects are mere hobbies now, since I have kids?’
It feels like it. All my projects, professional or not, everything I do, they’re mere hobbies, compared to this parenting quest.
