I made a Rust program that parses all my Kindle quotes from a single My Clippings.txt file, to a set of files, one quote per file. That equals one quote per post / story / blog entry. Sometimes they’re even one word!

I made a test run for the relatively recent quotes, and summoned all my English quotes from my original Kindle. Not much is in there, just about 1,600 new entries (dated from 2013 to 2020 mostly, plus a few tens more from 2024 to 2026).
I have two more thousands non-English quotes, I’d keep them for my personal / private / for-friends blog, I guess. I’d take time to re-read them all first, and determine whether they’re even worthy.
They’d spam this current blog of mine, but I made my decision: I decided I won’t make just one more blog for just the quotes. They’d live alongside the internet quotes, under the same tag, quotes. Those coming from Kindle, they’d have the same-name tag. Sometimes I read from iBooks (very occasionally, almost never), so I’m not even sure I’m going to tag them quotes from there.
I’m going to add them gradually, just because each of the quotes would have to have the title, and I do them manually. I found that’s a pretty fine way of re-reading shit I’ve been reading. Otherwise, there’s no point in reading anything, if you don’t take any time to repeat the read things, ever.
From now on, the new quotes are going to be added relatively quickly, once in a while. It’s almost entirely automated, and I think I’d automated it to the absolute maximum, but still, I won’t upload them daily. I guess weekly or bi-weekly is the more real estimate. I hope against hope that would motivate me to read more, to read again. I’m not going to read just to have some new content, and unfortunately most quotes may be silly, and useless, and rather too spammy. They’d certainly create too much noise for this blog, but I have no idea how to handle that differently. I actually want this blog to accumulate all the noise from my other blogs, to pave the way to get some better content elsewhere.
Also, they may poison some automated AI-analytics tools for doxxing campaigns on me, yo!

I’m going to put them in ‘quotes,’ with the old ones may be retroactively edited, or missed. Both are good for me.
