Having multiple blogs is a chore, but I’m committed to keep at least some. As a downside: I have to repeat myself. (On the upside: I can write the same thing from different angles and with a different attention to different details.)
I’ve bought a projector. A hundred bucks, a cheap Xiaomi daughter company, Wanbo T2 Max.
Head out to Walter to read more, he has a lot in his blog.
Watching content on a huge screen is immersive and cool, I quite like it, even despite the fact I’m not much of a watcher. I don’t enjoy it as much as others do. I would miss having these cinema sessions, I think. But I’d happily swap them for the things I love more. OK, that’s the topic for some other time.
This time, I’ve got the vibes of some people continuously watching TV, like routinely, every day, all their lives …
Supposedly they’re American in my head, but not limited to, most nations— heck! Most Earth’s population is like that!
I imagined that level of comfort, and I’m not even sure, do I envy this state of mind or pity it?
For me, watching shit is a way to distract from the daily chores, running errands, and being somewhat dissatisfied of where I ended up being. Here, I don’t mean some pre-determinism, fatalism, or any other complicated word I may be missing out of the exhaustion. Rather some acceptance of the situation, and while I’m here, I can taste what it feels like, to watch a TV. (In a way.)
The industry is huge, and being addicted to the Internet (which I am, a focking webhead), it’s not different much. The Internet entertainment and influence industry got so big that I’m not even sure Hollywood isn’t tiny compared to it.
I’d love to be able to relax enough to actually submerge into some fictional story for an hour or two, without worrying too much. Without getting other addictives in, alcohol or weed.
Meditation may help, I guess. But it’s just so much easier to immerse into a full-wall screen, compared to the biggest iPad Pro we’re having.
I’m tired and orders got asleep already, so I’d go too. This blog allows me some slack, and I’m not feeling obliged to even finish some thought or check whether I’d lost some thought while distracting to another.
It’s an interesting project, at least. I’ve learned plenty of new things within a week or two.
